Combine brews with brainpower tomorrow at our Monthly Trivia Night!
On during the last Thursday of every month, our pub trivia covers a range of topics and only costs $3 per person to enter. From 7.00pm onwards in The Pineapple Hotel’s Lounge Bar, be sure to swing by to ensure yourself a fun-filled night!
Check The Pineapple Hotel’s calendar to see when the next monthly trivia night takes place:
Can’t afford the flight to Las Vegas to see Jeff Horn meet American champion Terence Crawford in the ring on Sunday, June 10th?
No worries! Watch them go head-to-head on our big screen instead from the comfort of our very own Park Bar, quality brews on hand. And even better, our delicious in-house menu of Vietnamese salad, duck spring rolls, and sticky pork ribs beats the sweaty canteen food (not to mention the line-ups!) found in arenas any day of the week.
Open for pre-game bites and even post-game live music entertainment until late at night, The Pineapple Hotel is here to cater to your every need!
*Please note however that we will not be taking bookings at our bar during this date. Screening time TBA.
Feel like giving back this sports season? Then have a lion’s share of The Pineapple Hotel’s Lionheart fundraising luncheon this Friday, June 8!
Join Brisbane Lions players Luke Hodge and Dayne Beam for a roar of a time, all the while raising funds for the Hyundai Help For Kids Lions Academy, a charity organisation dedicated to developing young Queenslanders to achieve their footy dreams. A fabulous auction and raffle winnings will also be up for grabs on the day.
With tickets earning guests a sumptuous three-course lunch and premium beverages, not to mention that warm fuzzy feeling that comes from contributing to a good cause, this is one lunch and charity event that you’ll definitely want to back! Reserve your seat by filling out our booking form here.
We hope to see you there!

Football fever? Yeah, we know a thing or two about it – but it usually involves a pack of Lions or wars that set state against state.
After a dry few months without footy, we leapt at the chance for more – even after we found out it was American. That’s right, folks: with February just around the corner, Super Bowl Sunday’s well on its way!
Forget those grudges and get into the spirit: great football, frosty beers, and early morning specials await at the Pineapple Hotel.
Super Bowl LII
New England Patriots vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Still need convincing? Here’s our top 4 reasons to say ‘G’day’ to the USA way.
That sweet, sweet time difference:
It might be called Super Bowl Sunday in the USA, but Down Under (where we abide by the rules of EST), things kick off bright and early on the Monday morning. That means one thing, and one thing only: judgment-free breakfast beers!
Forget settling for any old Brisbane pub – with ice-cold Heineken schooners and a super special 9am opening, we’ve got everything you need to turn your regular Monday morning into a super one.
They’re big, they’re expensive and they pull almost as many viewers as the game itself, we’re talking about the legendary Super Bowl commercials! From the epic to the just plain cringe worthy, these 30 second ads are in a league of their own. Forget running to the bathroom during the commercials – you won’t wanna miss a second of these.
The yanks may know a thing-or-two about buffalo wings, but we know better. The true blue buddy to beers and live sport is a slap-up, top notch parmy from the Park Bar, and you know it! Nab one at half-time and fuel up for the most exciting part of the game: Justin Timberlake.
The half-time show:
After going Gaga last year, how ‘bout those killer live performances? From Beyoncé to Coldplay and those guys in the shark suits, the Super Bowl half-time show has provided more viral news and entertainment than any other sporting event. Paul Gallan aside, of course.
Don’t get stuck wondering where to go for Super Bowl LII – gather up the whole office and prepare to bond over beers, big ads and the best that Brisbane has to offer – any excuse’ll do.

This January 26th, make the most of your day off and round up your family and your mates as we raise a few cold pints of James Squire to the lucky country, kick back and enjoy the entertainment, and test our throwing arms for a shot at $500 cash!
Thats right, the Pineapple Hotel’s iconic Pineapple Throwing Competition is back for another year, giving one lucky man and one lucky woman the chance to win big this Australia Day!
In between throws enjoy traditional pub food in the relaxed Park Bar or sit down for our special Lamb and Rosemary pie in the Steak House restaurant, with fresh lamingtons for $25. Both are serving all day if you’re pining for a sneaky afternoon Parmy and a cold one or two.
No one does Australia Day like the Piney, so come and join the festivities and raise a glass to our great nation at one of the country’s most iconic pubs.
