Can’t afford the flight to Las Vegas to see Jeff Horn meet American champion Terence Crawford in the ring on Sunday, June 10th?
No worries! Watch them go head-to-head on our big screen instead from the comfort of our very own Park Bar, quality brews on hand. And even better, our delicious in-house menu of Vietnamese salad, duck spring rolls, and sticky pork ribs beats the sweaty canteen food (not to mention the line-ups!) found in arenas any day of the week.
Open for pre-game bites and even post-game live music entertainment until late at night, The Pineapple Hotel is here to cater to your every need!
*Please note however that we will not be taking bookings at our bar during this date. Screening time TBA.

We’re not sure about you guys, but we at The Pineapple Hotel have been crying manly tears over our tinnies and signed NRL footballs since the news came in that beloved Maroons captain Cameron Smith has retired from the game, effective immediately.
After an impressive 42 origins and 56 games for Australia, this Storms player is hanging up his jersey for good and leaves the rest of Queensland devastated ahead of 2018’s State of Origin’s first game on June 6.
Who’s going to lead us to victory against the cockroaches? What does this spell for the Melbourne Storms? Does this mean Billy ‘the Kid’ Slater will finally outgrow his nickname and step up as captain of the team?
Alas, while we can’t answer these existential footy questions, what we can do is help you soak up those tears with a delicious meal and quality brew at the Park Bar, our designated space for everything sports-related, including live screenings of Brisbane’s most-anticipated NRL games.
From 5.00pm onward, go from sad to glad with our quality pizzas, whose brilliant $12 price tag on TGIF (just in time for Friday Night Footy) will have you smiling from ear to ear. Also popular on Friday nights (and every other night actually) is our main menu’s sticky pork ribs tossed in chili soy, which pairs perfectly with a pale ale or two from the bar.
And to complete the healing process? Join us on Game Day (Wednesday, June 6th) to watch the first State of Origin match live and loud on our screens as the new generation of Queensland Maroons works hard to make Cam Smith proud.
We know this bad news is hard to tackle… but now’s the time to try.
To keep up-to-date with all our screenings, keep tabs on our sports calendar here.
